today i read an article called "death and the salemen", it described the process of death industry, which also involves lifegem(the remains of a love one is put into a diamond), cryogenics, and mummification. did you know that appox. 370,000 gallons of embalming fluid is used every year, and one of these fluids is formaldehyde, a very harmful carcinogen. back in the early days of settlement embalming was done by family members at home, but now it is done away from home by people who see your love one as a manikin for a touch up. slowly the perception of death is changing. i could not help but think, if the death has become such of a nuisance to society and then what will happen to the Resurrection?
